With a sound track record spanning more than two decades, Wayne Hartung is focused not only on his own businesses’ success, but that of others as well.
Mr. Hartung showed his potential for business success at an early age, when he formed Hartung Commercial Properties, Inc., at the age of 19. The business, which buys, holds, and sells commercial real estate throughout Alabama and Florida, earned Wayne extensive recognition soon after graduation. Still in operation today, Hartung Commercial Properties partners with the Urban Development Department for the City of Mobile and is a member of the Landlords of Mobile group.
Marshall Auto Painting and Collision, another of Wayne Hartung’s businesses, has been proudly serving Southeast Alabama’s residents as well as the state of Florida for the better part of two decades. The company is certified through the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) and the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR). The success of his full-service auto body shop is guided by the highest ethical standards, substantive educational qualifications, and premier customer service ideals.
As a Fortune 500 President, Wayne Hartung has formed seven additional companies in various industries. He is also a current board member for several organizations and advisory groups.
Wayne Hartung’s accomplishments have not gone unnoticed. He has been honored with a Lower Alabama Small Business Representative appointment by NRCC Chairman Tom Delay, and was the recipient of a 2004 Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award. In 2003, he was graced with a National Republican Committee Leadership award, as well as a Presidential Who’s Who formal recognition.
Additionally, Wayne Hartung’s businesses provide the main financial backing for Alabama’s largest charitable classic car show. During past events, tens of thousands of dollars have been raised for Babies First and the United Methodist Home.
